A high-flying auction of Romanée-Conti estate
When he worked as an expert at Christie’s in London, Michael Ganne had already broken a record in 2010 with the sale of a bottle of Cheval Blanc at 225,000 euros. Michael Ganne is currently the executive director of Baghera Wine. He won again with a jeroboam of 1999, from the famous Romanée-Conti estate. A Burgundy estate with exceptional reputation of 1500 years that the cabinet closely follows. Awarded 76,300 euros (CH 82,800) in 2017, this real gem has become simply the most expensive bottle of wine in the world .
